Isabel Mercedes

I am Isabel Mercedes and the mother of two children. I am a birth and postpartum (after childbirth) doula. I would love to help you find your strength so that you have confidence in yourself for the birth of your child. You can benefit from my life experience and my experiences working with women in the fields of theater and dance. But also through my background in social work, massage, reiki, and coaching. I warmly welcome you to my home-based practice in Amsterdam, and I am also happy to visit you at home.

Listening to you, being present and supporting you unconditionally, combining traditional and modern knowledge to empower you throughout your life as a woman.

Depending on what you want and what makes you feel comfortable, I use techniques like massage and Spinning Babies, which help get your baby into the optimal position for birth. But it also helps to have someone nearby who listens to how you’re feeling and perhaps what you’re afraid of.
