Hi, I’m Anya, I’m a birth and postpartum doula. I speak Russian, French and English, but no Dutch (yet :)) therefore my Dutch profile is also written in English.

In 2012, I left Moscow and spent over a decade living across the world—France, the USA, Canada, Austria, and Georgia—before settling in the Netherlands.
‌I gave birth to my daughter here in Amsterdam, and experiencing pregnancy, birth, and postpartum firsthand within the Dutch system gave me a whole new perspective on the journey I had already been supporting others through.

I’ve been practicing as a postpartum doula since 2020 and later expanded my work to birth support as well.

‌I believe:

• Birth is a powerful transition
• You are the ultimate expert on your own body
• Being deeply supported through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum allows you to move through this transition with strength and trust, emerging more connected to yourself than ever before
• Every birth is unique, and every story is sacred
  

As your doula, I will:

• Support you fully, without judgment or pressure
• Respect every choice you make and every path your birth takes
• Hold space for you with presence, trust, and compassion
• Have no agenda—your journey is entirely yours
  

I’m not a replacement for your partner:
I support your partner in a way that helps them better support you.

I’m not a replacement for your midwife:
Our roles are different but complementary.

We all work together as a team to ensure you feel safe, empowered, and in your own power.
