Laurina Cerredo

My name is Laurina aka Doula Lau and I am an experienced Birth Doula and Bereavement Doula. My specialisation is providing warm and professional doula care in case of lossbirth. I coined this term for respecting all forms of pregnancy loss -termination, miscarriage, stillbirth, babyloss and severe medical diagnosis of baby- and I strive to raise awareness on this high impact life event and for optimized care for people who experience it.

I am member of the Doula Collectief, a collective of professional Doula's who support all types of families in all outcomes of pregnancy.

I believe in the warm power of softness and empathy. Sometimes being vulnerable means that you are actually super strong. Closeness can relieve loneliness. Our body knows what to do at either birth or death.
