Anouk Bol- Vermeer

Hi, I’m Anouk, your Down-to-earth Doula. I live in Zoetermeer with my husband Sander and our son Billy.
I love good food, good drinks and making people happy.
In addition to my work as a doula, I currently work in marketing at Coca-Cola. I have made good arrangements with my employer so I can combine both roles. Pretty cool, right?

My passion for birth work started when I became pregnant and gave birth myself. Although I had hoped for a home birth, my birth eventually became medical. Still, it turned out to be a very positive experience. That is what I wish for every woman.

Since then I know that every birth can be a positive experience, both at home and in the hospital. The right knowledge, preparation and support make all the difference.

As a doula I provide physical, emotional and mental support during pregnancy and birth. I help you and your partner prepare in a practical and realistic way for what to expect. We talk about what happens in your body, what you can do yourself and what choices you have. This knowledge builds confidence so that during labour you can focus on your body and trust the process.

I trained at the Doula Academy. Because most births take place in the hospital, I also have knowledge of complications, interventions and medical pain relief.
I speak the language of medical staff and work together with them as one team around your birth, so you can have the best possible experience.
