Carissa Ten Tije (intern)

Your pregnancy is a unique time, full of change. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have stability amidst all these changes? Let me help provide that. My name is Carissa, and I’m a birth doula in training, serving Deventer and the surrounding area.

As your doula, I will guide you to a place of safety, grounded in knowledge and connection, so that you and your partner feel well-informed and confident as you approach pregnancy and birth. Together, we will focus on the balance between body and mind, with your natural strengths and needs at the center. Learn to listen to your body and trust your intuition. This is how we will create a positive experience that you and your baby will cherish for years to come.

As a trainee doula, I know I still have much to learn. However, I hope our collaboration will be a valuable exchange of knowledge, where we can grow together. I am the one who will guide you through this special time, while my mentor supports me behind the scenes, helping me to grow in my learning process.
