"When I’m driving home after attending a birth, I often find myself in the car with tears of joy. I’ve once again witnessed a woman, fully in her power and in her own way, bringing her baby into the world. It’s a privilege to witness the journey she makes. In which she feel’s, releases and let’s it all unfold. The deep exhale afterwards. The euphoria of holding her baby in her arms. It’s incredible how much happens in that one single moment. I truly love this so much!"

I'm Linda, and I live in Stompetoren with my husband and two sons. With a background in dance and a passion for anatomy, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body. But birth… that wasn’t exactly something I looked forward to before I had children myself.

That changed completely when I became pregnant with my eldest son. Suddenly, everything fell into place, and a deep fascination for pregnancy and birth was born. I didn’t just become a mother — the doula within me was also born.

Welcoming a child into the world is a life-changing experience. And for the mother especially, it marks a profound transition. Because not only is the baby born — you, as a mother, are reborn too. This transformation deserves to be honored and cherished.

That’s why, in addition to being a doula, I’m also a certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educator, postpartum bodyworker and maternity nurse in training ('kraamverzorgende’ i.o). At my practice, Carry Me Home, it’s about the entire journey into parenthood, and I see my support as a full-circle moment.

As a postpartum doula ('kraamdoula'), I support you (and your partner) with all the love and care during this special, intimate, and magical time. I’m there to help you prepare for birth and support you in following your own inner wisdom. I’m the familiar, steady presence during labor. And I’m there with nurturing care and a peaceful start in your postpartum period.

The arrival of your baby is a unique moment that deserves your full, loving attention. I’m here for you, to support you in this new phase with trust and confidence.
