Roos Smits-Blits

My name is Roos Smits-Blits, and I am the founder of BirthRose.
After more than fifteen years of experience in strategic communications, PR, and branding for international brands, I decided to take my career in a new direction.
My passion for supporting women during pregnancy and birth stems from both my professional background and my personal experience. I combine my corporate expertise with my calling as a doula to guide women through a crucial phase of their lives.

During my own birth experience, I realized how essential it is to be well-informed and supported. This motivated me to provide objective, scientific information and practical guidance so that women can experience their birth with confidence and autonomy.

In addition to personal birth support, my company, BirthRose Consulting, helps businesses create an inclusive work environment for (expectant) mothers.
I support organizations and employees in making the transition between work and motherhood smoother and more sustainable through workshops, training sessions, and personalized guidance for both employees and employers.
