Being a Doula, I am someone who is there to listen, answer questions, and sense what you need. Someone who understands your wishes, boundaries, and needs, and ensures they are respected. Someone who sees you, hears you, and has faith in your personal strength. In short, someone who is fully there for you during this special period of your life.

My name is Ismay Heijerman. I live in The Hague and am a birth and postpartum doula. The families I have had the privilege of supporting describe me as calm, caring, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable.

It is important that you enter the birth and the Postpartum Period with confidence and peace. I would like to support you with this.
