Giving birth is a super special life-event which you will never forget. It can be exciting and sometimes even tensive, especially when you are expecting a child in a country where you might not be familiar with the birth culture.

My name is Sanne and I work with much joy as a doula in Utrecht and the surrounding area. As your doula I will prepare you (and your birth partner if you have got one) for the birth of your baby and the maternity period, in that particular way that you can experience the best possible start of motherhood.

The support I offer is always different and completely tailored to you.My mission as a doula is that you go into labor with complete trust and that you can look back on this special day with a smile on your face, no matter how it went.In addition to being a doula, I am also photographer. I love documenting maternity, birth and newborn families.

When you consider to get yourself a doula, the 'click' is of course extremely important. In a life event that is so intimate and vulnerable, you don't just let anyone in.
