Are you looking for a doula and do you live in Ede and the surrounding area? Then get in touch! I’m Ellen Boogaard, married, and have 3 young adult children.

I mainly have experience as a doula abroad, working with women from different countries and cultures, and have learned to be flexible and adapt to the wishes and customs of my clients. From 2005 to 2019, I lived in East Asia and supported many couples in preparing for the arrival of their baby, during birth, and in the first weeks after birth.

I got my training with Childbirth International and I love their ideas of evidence-based information and providing my clients with the tools they need to make informed decisions. I have certificates as a Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor, so I can support you during pregnancy, birth and the weeks after.

In addition to being a doula, you can approach me for a prenatal course, breastfeeding support, and mama coaching, for example, in the case of fear of childbirth or a traumatic birth experience.
