Are you looking for an English (or Chinese) speaking doula in or around Ede? Please contact me! I am Ellen Boogaard, married and have 3 kids, age 20, 18 and 14.

We have lived overseas (in China) for 15 years. I learned the doula-profession in China and have supported many couples from different countries and cultures. I have learned to be flexible and to adapt to the desires and habits of my clients. Every time I support a woman or couple, I am in awe of the miracle of pregnancy and birth. I am very supportive of a natural birth and I love the possibility to have a home birth in the Netherlands. And of course I am thankful we have options if you choose for a hospital or clinic to give birth at.

I got my training with Childbirth International and I love their ideas of evidence-based information and providing my clients with the tools they need to make informed decisions. I have certificates as a Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor, so I can support you during pregnancy, birth and the weeks after.

I also offer Mom-Coaching services for those who are very anxious about giving birth, who had a traumatic experience with birth in the past or who just need to talk through some parenting or mom-issues.
